had a conversation about happiness
though ephemeral
it leaves behind a good feel effect
like a drug that intoxicates
you can't help but to keep coming back for more
and when the drug is gone
your only recovery is cold turkey
everybody tells me that time heals everything
but they forgot to remind me one thing
not everyone is constructed strong
for the better of you got the better of me
now i'm left with memories of hope
that does not fade away that easily
